We LOVE the preschool field trips!

First, let me say, I'm sorry, but for some reason I'm still unable to upload pictures.

This week has been a great week!

Our Mya turned 5!

It is so hard to believe! We are celebrating on Sunday!

Yesterday, Ryan, Isaac and I, went on her field trip with her! It was a blast. We went to a ceramics place, yes with 31 PRESCHOOLERS! That was my thought exactly! But the kids were great. They were each able to paint an ornament of their choice! We then found a new winter hobby, we went ice skating! It was great. I, of course, was not going to skate, but I ended up with some prodding from Mya and her best friend Tabitha! LOL, it was great. And much easier than roller skating! There is an awesome indoor sports complex, right in Mt Pleasant! So we will definately be making some visits there over the winter!

I will try to email some pictures out to you!

Hope that this finds you well! Hugs.

Back to the 80's!!!!!!

It felt like we went through a time warp last night! I was unaware of it, but there is a roller rink in Crystal. We were invited to a birthday party there last night. My boss's daughter, Tiana, turned 4! I was unsure about going, as I just got home from a certification course! But I'm so glad that we did!!!!! We had so much fun!

Isaac took about 2 seconds to learn how to "skate"! He was so cute. He didn't want me holding his hand or anything. Just let me goooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Grrrrr.....for some reason the pics aren't uploading. As soon as they will I will post them.

They are priceless!

Mya took a little longer to warm up to it, but then I couldn't get the skate off of her!

They are both now asking, "when can we go back!" LOL

Great family time, and it will be great to have that as an outlet for the kids this winter! I'm excited.

She had so much fun! Mya asked her grandma, "Is that the tallest store you ever saw?" LOL, I forgot that she has never been to a big city like that!

Marcia said that it took her 3 hours, just to pick out her doll,(faint), the second day they went down to Navy Pier and to the Children's Museum. Then grandma asked her if she wanted to go back to the American Girl store, to look around and take some more pictures. Mya said, "Yes, then I can get a whole collection!"
Grammy quickly changed her mind, and to Navy Pier they went!

TRICK OR TREAT

SNOW WHITE AND SLEEPING BEAUTY ARE OUT WITH THEIR VERY BEST FRIEND THE RED POWER RANGER
SMILE MISS LIDDY!

MOTHER GOOSE!

DADDY'S LITTLE PRINCESS

Chey, joined us, and helped with trick or treating. The kids had a wonderful time, and were tired out after 45 minutes, and ready to go home. "Patsy's" grandma came over to spend the night, as Miss Mya has been hounding her "to stay at my house grandma." So they bounced off the walls all night long with Grandma and Chey!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Miss Lydia!

It's hard to believe that it has been two years. You have grown from our tiny little miracle.....

Into our bashful little 2 year old!

This is the beginning of singing "Happy Birthday"Now hiding under the table

Thank you to our wonderful families for celebrating Lydia's birthday with us. She loves to carry around her baby. Her is her lil' chef outfit. She had a wonderful day. It was great to see you all. Thank you so much for sharing with us!

"When I grow up.....

....to be a princess, who's gonna marry me?"

That was Mya a few days ago. She is back on her princess obsession. She was playing in my workbag, and found a Disney vacation mailing. She opened it, and there was a picture of Cinderella. "Mom, the real life Cinderella wrote me a special letter. She wants me to come see her? Does she live a long way away?" As she came running down the house with it in her hands. She had the biggest smile on her face! She continued to leaf through it, and saw the map of Disney World. She looked up and said, "See mom, she sent us a map! It tells us how to get there. Look it's really easy!!!!" She was sooooo happy! So we are going to have to work on making that dream come true!!!!!!!!!

Fun in the Rain! Check out Lydia laying in the sled with her baby. She was insistant upon Mya and Isaac pushing and pulling them around. Our two handsome guys! My two favorites!
Campfire!

Just wanted to share a few new pictures. Mya is settling into school nicely. Isaac starts Kindergym the first week of November, along with Mya in dance class. The kids wanted to camp out in the camper, so Stinky Gma and Papa brought the camper up, and we had a camp out. The kids have fun, and it was nice to just relax and visit.

Getting off the bus!

Mya was anxious about riding the bus. So she asked that we all be there when she got off. Well, the first day, the bus driver drove right on by, but the second day, he stopped on key. Here she is.....

Here we are waiting for her

And Miss Lydia when no one else is home, and all she has to play with are her dolly's! To whom she is a very good little momma.

Happy Birthday Uncle Rory and Aunt Renae

Happy birthday to you.........Our baby bro is now 25 years old! Aunt Renae is now 22! They just bought a beautiful piece of property. So we have a few pics to share of our afternoon at the park!
Love birds!

Here's a better one....

You're funny

Here's our Preschooler!

Isn't she sweet. She had her first official day at Vestaburg preschool on Sept 16th. Mrs. J and Mrs. Peglow, her teachers, came out to the house the week prior to meet us, which I think made a big difference to her. She was a little nervous, but did great! She said that she had fun, but doesn't have any friends there yet. She was ready for bed by 5:30 pm! Isaac is sad, as he still doesn't have his "own school" yet. This is a picture of Mya up in the "house" at preschool, on her first day. Isaac was right there next to her. Overall a successful day! Gosh, I just can't believe how old she has gotten!

Busy, Busy!

Our little daredevil, giving her baby a ride!

Anyone for a game of water soccer?
Trio of smiles!

The kids have been busy. We met Mya's teacher last week. Mrs. J and Mrs. Peglow came for a visit. Mya enjoyed the visit, and will be starting school next week. We have been debating about her riding the bus, but she wants to. So we were talking to her about the bus, and she says she wants to ride. So we said, "Do you still want to ride the bus if mommy and daddy aren't on with you?" She had a look of terror on her face, and shook her head NO. We had a chuckle out of that one!

Over Labor Day weekend, we went to a cookout at Becky's and went swimming. The kids had a great time. I will include some pictures below.

Not to much else to report. Busy as usual.

Busy Summer!

We had a wonderful family day. We had a picnic at the park, and the kids played. They LOVE to swing. The other day, I took the kids alone, and Mya and Isaac kept asking me to "go under." For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what she was talking about. Well, when daddy goes this is what he does..He gives UNDERDOGS!!!!!! They also love the tire swing. Funny from the park, I had climbed up the stairs to show Lydia where to go down the slide. I stayed up there for a little while, and Isaac asked, "How did you get up there, momma?" I chuckled, and said "like Spider woman." A few minutes later, or course with people all around, Isaac says, "Can you climb on your belly too, momma?" I almost died. Ryan has been laughing about that since! Just picture it in your mind!

After the park, we heard the football game at Alma college in the distance, so we went and watched for awhile. Isaac did not want to leave. So we promised him that we would take him to a Friday night football game soon.

Mya will be starting preschool on the 16th of September. She will go on Tues and Thurs from 7:55 a-3 p. We have been trying to find something for Isaac to get involved in so that he doesn't feel left out. In the mean time, Mya was signed up for soccer, but Isaac was too young. Well, poor communication led to us searching for something that they both can get involved in. Low and behold, we found a gymnastics/dance studio in Alma. When given the choice she chose dance, of course! So we will be going next week to check out the studio, and sign up!

Just a few cute pics!
